Teresa Campion



Teresa joined nplaw in the role of Lawyer in August 2021 and is working in the Places Team (Planning & Environment).

Teresa qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive and then re-qualified as a Solicitor in 1996 after undertaking a part-time Law degree and Legal Practice course at Nottingham Trent University. She has worked in the public sector for over 25 years advising a number of Unitary, District, London Borough Councils and Environment Agency as an employee and locum/consultant in the areas of Planning, (primarily Enforcement), Governance, Licensing and Litigation specialising in Regulatory Law.

She has previously held the role of Deputy Monitoring Officer for a district authority in East England for a period of 5 years and deputised for the Head of Legal Services/Legal Services Manager.

She undertook voluntary work as a Gateway Assessor at West Norfolk Citizens’ Advice Bureau.
She is a qualified Solicitor-Advocate and holds a higher rights qualification in Criminal Law and is a member of the Institute of Licensing.
