Rachel Garwood has a degree in law and a master’s degree in planning and development. She joined nplaw in 2013 and is developing a varied caseload including drafting and negotiating commercial developer agreements (section 106 and section 278 agreements) and working on compulsory purchase orders, highways and commercial property transactions. Rachel has worked on a number of commercial developer agreements for large-scale residential developments including:
- a section 106 agreement for a 900 unit housing and mixed used development site in South Norfolk;
- a 1,200 house agreement for a development site in South Norfolk which included complex educational provisions relating to school sites.
Rachel’s current projects include advising on a rail crossing diversion order and assisting with compulsory purchase projects for a large regeneration scheme in Cambridge.
