Luke Parker qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and joined nplaw’s public protection and dispute resolution team on qualification. His case load is centred on civil litigation with a focus on social housing. Luke regularly advises and represents a variety of local housing authorities in the County Court. In addition, his civil litigation case load includes planning control disputes, commercial debt matters and judicial review claims. He also advises licensing officers and committees on Licencing Act 2003 and taxi licensing matters.
Previously, Luke has acted for a number of local authorities in private prosecutions in the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts involving a range of offences, including offences under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, the Town & Country Planning Act 1990, the Environmental Protection Act 1990, the Social Security and Administration Act 1992 and the Education Act 1996.Back to Our People page >
