Kat Hulatt is Norfolk County Council’s Monitoring Officer, tasked with supporting good governance across the local authority.
She also leads nplaw, the Council’s shared legal service, which provides local authority tailored legal advice and support to a number of councils in Norfolk and beyond.
Kat came into Local Government through the National Graduate Development Scheme, and spent a number of years at Milton Keynes Council, where she qualified as a solicitor and worked in number of advocacy and litigation based roles, including as a criminal prosecutor.
When she came to work at the Council, she relocated to Norfolk with her family and enjoys the fantastic range of countryside that Norfolk has to offer, especially long beach walks with her dog.
