Winner of Chris Skinner Law Essay Competition announced
We are delighted to announce that Megan Reeve, a Year 12 student at Paston College Sixth Form, is the winner of the 2017/2018 Chris Skinner Memorial Law Essay Competition. All the entries were of a very high standard but the judging panel felt that Megan’s stood out. The judges commented that she set out her arguments coherently, considered the relevant law – particularly the Platt case – and reached a clear, well-reasoned conclusion.
A cheque for £100 has been sent to Megan and she will be joining nplaw for a work experience placement during the 2018 May half-term.
The judges were very impressed with four other essays submitted and their authors will receive “Highly Commended” certificates.
