UEA Law School Employability Event

Rebecca Williams from the Planning and Environmental Law Team spoke at a UEA Law School employability event on Tuesday 12th February with a focus on “life as an in-house lawyer”.

Rebecca Williams from the Planning and Environmental Law Team spoke at a UEA Law School employability event on Tuesday 12th February with a focus on “life as an in-house lawyer”. The event is part of the Law School’s curriculum for first year law students and is intended to help get them thinking about what kind of career would suit them. Students from other years, including postgraduate students, also attended.

Rebecca was part of a panel of in-house lawyers speaking about their route to their current job, giving a flavour of a typical week in that job and talking about what are the good and not-so-good aspects of their chosen career, and the kind of law which they practice.
