nplaw wins place on £1m legal panel set up by Historic England

We are delighted to announce that nplaw has been appointed to Historic England’s £1m panel of external legal advisers to provide a broad spectrum of legal work.

Interim Practice Director, Abdus Choudhury, said “We are very much looking forward to working with this important public body to look after England’s historic environment. It is a testament to the expertise and experience of our staff that we have been appointed to this prestigious panel.”

The appointment follows a competitive tender process and was awarded on the basis of quality (weighting: 75%) and price (weighting: 25%).

The panel will cover work in the following areas:

  • Planning law
  • Property law
  • Commercial law
  • Procurement
  • Employment and Pensions
  • Commercial Litigation
  • Charity law
  • Judicial review

The contract will last for four years from 1 September 2017.
