nplaw welcomes work experience placement students

16 July 2017 | Category

nplaw has been welcoming students over the last few weeks undertaking week-long work experience placements with us. We have tried to find them all interesting things to do, including research, attending meetings and accompanying our lawyers to court.

We aim to provide students with:

  • insight and information about careers in local government law;
  • the chance to learn about and develop the key skills that are needed in the legal profession; and
  • sufficient exposure to legal work to enable them to make an informed career choice.

Feedback from the students has been very positive. One emailed to say that she was very impressed with the reception she was given and said that nplaw’s staff “have all been the most welcoming, kind, helpful and patient people I have ever met in a workplace environment”.
