Lexcel Accreditation – leading the field…remotely…

nplaw, the County Council’s legal team, has been successfully reaccredited for Lexcel by an independent assessor. Lexcel is the Law Society’s legal practice quality mark which assures clients that the practice is well run and provides a good service. The reaccreditation is all the more impressive because the substantive assessment was conducted during the lockdown. The assessor scrutinised remotely nplaw’s policies, procedures and some sample files, confirming that nplaw continues to exceed the LEXCEL standard requirement and commending the practice on 14 areas of good practice as well as the speed and certainty with which nplaw has continued to operate in the face of the current pandemic.

nplaw’s Practice Director, Abdus Choudhury, said, “ We are delighted to retain our Lexcel accreditation, which is a reflection of all the excellent work done by our team throughout the year. The assessment shows that it is possible to carry on with much of our normal business during these abnormal times, it just requires a little imagination.”
