HRH The Duke of Edinburgh
10 June 1921 – 9 April 2021
This is a sad day and nplaw at Norfolk County Council joins in the nation’s mourning for HRH The Duke of Edinburgh, who spent many long and happy periods of residence in our County.
nplaw – leaders in public law
nplaw is a public sector shared legal service with a wealth of experience gained through many years of advising our local government clients. Our lawyers offer tried and tested expertise in a wide range of disciplines. Our public service ethos sets us apart from private legal practices but we are run and approach our work in the same commercial manner, working hard to offer excellent value for money whilst at the same time delivering a high quality, efficient legal service to our stakeholders.
nplaw has strong local roots. We and our stakeholder clients: Norfolk County Council, Norwich City Council, Great Yarmouth Borough Council and Broadland District Council, are all Norfolk-based.
We have seen unprecedented change in the UK’s public and voluntary sectors over the last few years. At nplaw, we pride ourselves on our innovative approach and our ability to respond to our clients’ changing needs and budgets. We structure our own development so as to best support our clients’ needs on these shifting sands. The public and voluntary sectors are currently being transformed through outsourcing, social enterprise, regeneration, housing development projects, community initiatives, advances in technology and many other factors. We are there to advise and assist our clients at every step of the way. In a changing world, our aim is to be the constant that helps our clients to embrace the best of the new whilst preserving all the benefits of a public service ethos.
